“My furnace stopped working a few issues. Bay Energy replied to me within 10min of the request and confirmed an appointment the next business day in the morning. Manuel was exceptional. He came on time, took all the proper COVID precautions, and even removed his shoes (Asian household) unrequested. I was on work calls so left him to diagnose the problem in the garage. He was respectful and waited for me to get a break, told me the issue (part replacement), and went to get a replacement part immediately. “We initially reached out to Adkins and his team to help add on an AC system to our existing furnace to help cool the house during the hot dry spells we've been experiencing the last few years. “True Story to add some context on why I'm giving a 5-star rating. I purchased a home and everything was working fine, we bought an additional warranty as well. Our A/C system stopped working and it came time to use the Warranty. They sent someone from California Heating and Cooling. The guy came out and essentially said the system never worked and the whole thing needed to be replaced. Of course, the warranty company denied the claim. “Adkins is awesome. We got 3 quotes for a replacement furnace with an air conditioning add-on. Adkins came in tied for lowest, and he seemed like the nicer guy so we went with him. Our AC installation wasn't the most straightforward job - peaked roofs (think Tahoe) and not a huge amount of space, the AC unit sits two floors below, and they had to do a new attic cutout. The team was awesome and did a great job, even working around the idiosyncrasies of our house. Adkins follows up with an inspection and we're in the process of getting our permit!
